Adeel Kaiser, M.D.
Dr. Kaiser is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Medicine. He received his
M.D. degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland. in 2003, and his
undergraduate degree, in neuroscience, from the same institution. He served his internship in
Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago Hospitals, Chicago, Illinois, and then entered the
Integrated Program in Radiation Oncology offered jointly by the University of California, Irvine,
the City of Hope National Medical Center, and Long Beach Memorial Hospital. During this program
he received training at City of Hope, Duarte, California; the University of California, Irvine,
Medical Center, Orange, California; and the Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and the Long Beach
Veternas Hospital, in Long Beach. He was Chief Resident of the program during part of his
training. He has had a wide and varied experience in radiation oncology, including proton
radiation therapy, intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), stereotactic radiosurgery,
brachytherapy, and precision radiotherapy planning systems. He has received several awards of
excellence, including the American Brachytherapy Society Fellowship Award and the Roentgen
Resident/Fellow Research Award of the Radiological Society of North America.
At Loma Linda University Medical Center, Dr. Kaiser sees patients with a variety of oncologic
problems, specializing in breast and gastrointestinal cancers and cancer of the prostate.
