Quoc T. A. Luu, M.D.

Dr. Luu is an attending radiation oncologist in the Department of Radiation Medicine, Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC), Loma Linda, California. He completed his undergraduate education at Reed College, Portland, Oregon (mathematics and physics) and at California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, California (applied physics). He received his M.D. degree from Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland, Oregon. Dr. Luu fulfilled his internship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Boise, Idaho, and his residency in radiation oncology at LLUMC. He is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) and the San Bernardino County Medical Society.

Dr. Luu is a leader in several investigations of proton radiation therapy. He has special interests in pediatric malignancies, cancers of the head and neck, and benign and malignant brain tumors. He has authored or co-authored papers on these topics in the peer-reviewed literature.
