Following Up

When you have completed your treatment, you will be followed by your family physician and/or your local radiation oncologist. You will also be contacted on occasion by our proton therapy case managers for follow-up. When a patient has completed therapy, the condition is monitored for the rest of his or her life. The office periodically contacts the patient and physician to ensure that the chart containing all follow-up data is up-to-date. This monitoring enables our proton treatment team to be aware of patient progress and ensure quality of care.
